  Mission Statement - Feedback Requested
  The current mission of the Federation-Synagogue Relations Committee is: The Federation-Synagogue Relations Committee works to strengthen the partnership between synagogues and the Federation in building a stronger Jewish community.  It is the forum to discuss ideas of concern, to recommend programs to address these issues and to provide better communication between synagogues and Federation. Based on comments at the January meeting, a proposed draft is: The Federation-Synagogue Relations Committee aspires to facilitate the creation of a strong, integrated and inspiring Jewish community in Miami wherein Federation and synagogues work in partnership to achieve synergy between individual's spiritual and civic life.  This will be achieved by:
  
  • providing a regular forum for dialogue between Federation and synagogues
    
  • assessing trends, challenges and opportunities for collaboration
    
  • identifying and incubating innovative approaches to building community
